I know many people struggle to come up with good gift ideas at Christmas. You want to be able to get a very special and unique gift. You want your gift to be thoughtful and show that you did put some thought into it. If you buy a vintage gift, this is guaranteed. Speaking as a woman, I know there is nothing better than receiving a gift that you know, nobody else will have. That is why I have listed here the top ten Vintage gifts you can buy for any woman this for Christmas be it your wife, girlfriend, or friend.

1. Jewelry - the most obvious choice and probably the easiest. You can select from any kind of jewelery, rings, bracelets, brooches, earrings, necklaces or even matching sets. Depending on her individual preference there are different styles as well, silver, gold, delicate or chunky and many beautiful multicolored stones to choose from.

2. Bags - another easy choice with plenty of choice. A vintage bag is always full of character and unique and for the lady that wants to make a stylish statement there is no better way to do it than with a bag. You can buy little clutches, beaded purses, box bags or shoulder bags.. the choice is yours (or hers if you want to let her pick it out)

3. Coats - probably the most expensive vintage gift idea but totally worth it. A vintage coat is a very glamorous gift and one that she will be guaranteed to love. You will find that all vintage coats are beautifully cut and lined and are actually better made than a lot of the new coats you would buy today. A very good investment.

4. Jackets - something not quite as dramatic as a coat but shorter and probably easier for everyday use. Vintage jackets are cut just as well as the coats and again most of them will be fully lined. The cut and style of these jackets make them a noticeable (an welcome!) addition to any wardrobe.

5. Dresses - fabulous and also an excellent purchase for her is she goes to a lot of social events and needs to have a lot of things to wear. Just remember there area a lot of different styles to choose from and its important to know her dress size!

6. Gowns - Does she love going to a ball? Does she like looking like a Hollywood starlet? Well then look no further, A vintage ball gown is exactly what you need to buy her! All you have to do is watch clips of old movies and you will see the kind of glamor we are talking here! Gowns worthy of any red carpet, she'll love it (and you) forever!

7. Shoes - I would only recommend this if you are positive of her shoe size and you know she likes high heels. Vintage shoes are beautiful but can run rather small, so if you are unsure just check one of her heels when she isn't looking!

8. Hats - Vintage hats are fantastic and there are so many different styles to choose from. You can get a hat for everyday use or a hat that would be worn to the races or a wedding. Just make sure she likes hat before you get one!

9. Accessories - oh any number to choose from! You could get her a little pair of vintage gloves, vintage makeup compacts (if she is a vintage collector she will love this) or, and Im not advocating smoking but vintage cigarette holders are fabulous and most of them are gold or mother of pearl and also hold a lighter a comb, and a place for your powder. They have little chain handles so they can be used as bags. A truly unique gift idea.

10. A Gift Voucher - If the sheer amount of choice is all to much for you get her a gift voucher and let her choose her own vintage gift after all who doesn't love to shop for free!
